Hendrix Portrait Made With 5,000 Guitar Picks

LEADING UK mosaic artist Ed Chapman has created a unique Jimi Hendrix mosaic out of  5000 guitar plectrums. It was auctioned at Cancer Research UK’s Sound & Vision event at the iconic Abbey Road Studios.

According to Globo, the artist has always been passionate about taxidermy, seeking to create forms that seem alive. In recent years, however, she began substituting the animal’s parts with machinery, like that which can be found in old watches.
